It’s done!

These are the legs and this is the bike that have come 12 000kms down the length of Africa.

Andy and the TDA reached Capetown yesterday, 9 May, exactly as planned. They rode the last 20 kms with a police escort, as they had done coming into or leaving any big town or city.

The cavalcade ended at the Capetown Waterfront with serious celebration. He was still talking to me at 01.00 last night but the pictures say it all.

  1. Andy – well done my mate no words can express the admiration i feel for you! only someone who knows what multi-stage events are like and what they take out of you can truly appreciate just what you have been through! without belittleling the holocaust an Auschwitz survivor will know your pain. well done and congratulations. i salute you (as an old time Roman would have) Bernie
